Swissmedic, the Swiss Medicine Agency, has authorized GeNeuro to start a Phase I trial with the monoclonal antibody GNbAC1 in healthy volunteers. GNbAC1 is developed for the treatment of Multiple Sclerosis. The trial is planned to start in August 2011. |

GeNeuro obtained a positive opinion from a German Regulatory Scientific Committee, the Paul Ehrlich Institute, about the pre-clinical package of its lead monoclonal antibody. |

| 2008 | In August 2008, GeNeuro obtained funding from Eclosion and Mérieux Alliance to expand its operations and advance its drug portfolio towards clinical development. | |
| 2006 | GeNeuro SA was founded by Dr Hervé Perron, Dr Christophe Mérieux and Jesus Martin-Garcia, with the help of bioMérieux, a French company developing diagnostics, and Eclosion, a Swiss start-up incubator which helps the development of projects in life sciences. | |
