The History of GeNeuro

2011  

Swissmedic, the Swiss Medicine Agency, has authorized GeNeuro to start a Phase I trial with the monoclonal antibody GNbAC1 in healthy volunteers. GNbAC1 is developed for the treatment of Multiple Sclerosis. The trial is planned to start in August 2011.

     
2011   GeNeuro Innovation SAS renewed the status of Small and Medium Enterprise (SME).
 
2011   GeNeuro's 5th anniversary.

2010  

GeNeuro obtained a positive opinion from a German Regulatory Scientific Committee, the Paul Ehrlich Institute, about the pre-clinical package of its lead monoclonal antibody.

 
2010   GeNeuro Innovation SAS obtained the status of Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) awarded by the European Medicines Agency.
 
2010   GeNeuro Innovation SAS opens a laboratory facility in Archamps.
 
2009   GeNeuro SA moved to its new facilities in Geneva / Plan-les-Ouates.
 
2009   The French affiliate GeNeuro Innovation SAS was created in Lyon.
 
2008   In August 2008, GeNeuro obtained funding from Eclosion and Mérieux Alliance to expand its operations and advance its drug portfolio towards clinical development.
 
2006   GeNeuro SA was founded by Dr Hervé Perron, Dr Christophe Mérieux and Jesus Martin-Garcia, with the help of bioMérieux, a French company developing diagnostics, and Eclosion, a Swiss start-up incubator which helps the development of projects in life sciences.
